We All Go Through That Phase

There are some several changes that I've been experiencing for months now and one of them is how I dress up. I think I've officially ditched platform shoes, stilettos and such to sneakers, flats and etc. I don't know why the sudden change from high-fashion-ish to comfort lifestyle. I guess I was bored already and I need the change.

Here are some of the items that I recently bought: a Hurley backpack and DC Bristol Le shoes both from Bratpack, Greenbelt 5. I seriously adore that shop ever since the sudden change in my life. I just want to buy all those Roxy bikinis and dresses and everything!

Right now I am high on traveling and my adrenaline towards it is so indescribable. Hence, my home page is Cebu Pacific Air.

Ever since I got my new job (the first one too), I've been learning the art of valuing money. I've been kuripot and I seriously don't mind repeating clothes over and over again. I am already in that maturity stage that money doesn't grow on trees and never ever spend money that you don't have. With this conclusion, should I still be called "The Little Big Spender"? In my opinion, no. However, I still have to carry that name til' I grow older but doesn't mean I have to live it up to it. Haha. How confusing. Well, the main reason why I cannot leave the title behind is because I AM "The Little Big Spender". I am known for that and it hurts! Lol.

On the lighter note, I am looking forward to my future trips this year: Davao (again), Boracay and maybe more... I would really love to go to Sagada and Batanes as well but the busy schedule from school & work and the budget are such big obstacles!

I LOVE PAUL & JOE BEAUTE

Guess what The Little Big Spender purchased today...

This is my first time to purchase Paul & Joe Beaute and I'm very thrilled to start using it! When I tried their tester for the foundation, I like how it had this creamy moisture feel when I blended it. I also tried it on under my eyes, and wow my skin started to glow. The skin under my eyes looked really healthy and I must say, I'm very impressed. Same goes for the powder too.

I'm not actually good at describing nor reviewing beauty products so I shall leave this job up to the beauty bloggers out there and Paul & Joe Beaute website - click here.

However I can give you a short background about the brand, Paul  & Joe is a French menswear brand created by Sophie Albou. After a year, she started with her own line for women inspired from her everyday life as a mother and a working woman. Six years later, she launched Paul & Joe Beaute cosmetics.

I also read that the products are produced in Japan so it is most likely based on Asian standards with a European touch.

No wonder I got the darkest shade for both products. Yay me. Haha!

Now you must be wondering how much these two cost:

Paul & Joe Protective Fluid Foundation N:
Original price: Php2,350 at Rustan's (Makati)
Bought it for: Php940 (60% off) not in Rustan's

Paul & Joe Face Powder N
Original Price: Php2,575 Rustan's (Makati)
Bought it for: Php1,287.50 (50%off) not in Rustan's

WHERE & HOW THE F DID THAT HAPPEN? Stay tuned at The Little Big Spender for more updates!!! ;)

Bloggers United Experience

I slept for only 3 hours last night. Not complaining because waking up very very early today was worth it! Can you imagine I woke up at 5:30am? Yes, I did. I am really like this towards shopping. Kinda sounds materialistic, huh?

As you all know, today is Blogger's United day! Read more about it here.

Rafael, Daniel and I were up really early to be prepared for some shopping extravaganza! And it was indeed successful. Especially for Rafael, who spent much more than I did! Hahaha!

We arrived the venue an hour early, yes very determined! And we were the first people who got in (the ones who aren't part of the event), and as soon as I got in my attention was caught by a certain pink curtain and a tarp of no other than, Camille Co.

First thing I saw was this beautiful skirt...

I bought it right away without having second thoughts!

Then went around with Daniel who really helped me look for the real good stuff! It was so much fun spending time with him outside school!

While going around we were again distracted by these beautiful shoes and then saw another beautiful lady who smiled at me. That beautiful lady is Kookie Buhain. She's such a nice beautiful lady. I swear! And I was so happy that I finally got to talk to her! :) And okay wow, she kind of knows me. Haha.

And guess what I got from her rack...

A metallic jumper for H&M! What a divine find!!!

After a small chat with Kookie, Daniel spotted a nice studded bag while I spotted a girl looking at a certain orange bag then put it back on the bin... Do you know what I did? Ran up to it and got it! Then, boom! Pat Prieto spotted me and said: "GET IT!" Oh Pat! Hahaha thank you for encouraging me ;)

Still didn't have second thoughts, I paid right away!

Daniel and I again (Rafael way too busy shopping) went around while he took pictures of people for his Fashion Trends class. Good student!

We ended up at the very back which was near the stage and noticed Joanna Ladrido's booth! Oh I love her stuff.

While Daniel and I looked around at her items I glanced at a certain dress which Joanna was holding to. AGAIN. I asked her for it and then just like that, bought it.

All the items I bought were some kind of "buy at first sight" no hesitations, just love. I also had a free manicure from "Nail It!" because of my purchase of the skirt. Thanks Camille for a generous offer to your customers!

It was such a really great day. I got all the items I want and need. There's nothing I could ask for more for this day.... maybe some sleep.

I went home and was so excited to fit my new clothes and everything fits perfectly! Then, I felt good about myself and said: "Wow. I can actually fit into their clothes!" Hahaha! *Pat on the back*

To those who went to Blogger's United, I hope everyone had a great time as much as I did! I was also happy to see my fellow bloggers who I'm pretty close to. And kudos to the people who are behind this event. You guys did a very good job! Can't wait for the next one!!!

Have a great weekend dolls x

The Little Big Spender Strikes Again and Again and Again!

Happy day for me as I already purchased the dress that I've been wanting since last week! My papa finally let me use Cici for this and !@#$%^&* never been THIS happy for the past... uh, one day? Last Saturday I went to the shop, fit the dress, then realized it was a bit tight but then damn, I looked thinner! So I called papa and asked permission if I could buy it but then he said NO because he thought I've been buying things already, which is not true. I haven't really shopped in a while and I desperately need new clothes for the incoming term.

(HOWEVER, I managed to lose weight in days and the dress fits PERFECT. Not tight anymore! YAY.)

I was a bit sad when he didn't approve it, but then I understood it like a big girl (ditching the spoiled whining girl peg) I was actually been thinking about this dress for the whole night when I got home from the mall. Thinking that it really looked good on me and that it was just perfect.

Then todaaaaaaaaaaaaay is my lucky day! JACKPOT! Called papa AGAIN & asked if the dress is still there, is it okay if could buy it. He said, YES but UNDER ONE CONDITION... cannot use the credit card next month. DUN DUNN DUNNNNNNN!

Of course, I agreed to it. It is just for one month, I can live with that. I think. And besides, it is time for me to start saving up because I am actually saving up for my pocket money to my trip to Vietnam this Christmas with my best friend, Alex! We're actually going to spend Christmas there together! And I love Vietnam! The shopping is good and cheap.

Back to the dress, this is it. One of the best dresses in my rack. LBD FTW. I love the middle part where it has a hole that is shaped like lips, I think its very sexy.  Basta, I love this dress. I LOOOOOOVE LOOOOVE this dress!

Also on my way to the shop, I was scared that someone might have purchased it already since it is the last piece. Thank God, when I got there, it was still there! And the other dress which was white, was already gone. OH THANK GOD. It really is for me! Kus!

Also, forgot to post about these lovely accessories from my Mi Bello, Cheska, who got it for me from Italia! Grazie mi amore!
