My Very First YSL

Oh hey everyone, so remember I won the contest in Shoephoric? Well I would just like to thank again to those who helped me win, I love you guys. I am really happy that I finally got these babies (weeks ago), HOWEVER: I have to pay freaking 12,400+ for tax. WTF. 

First of all, I just turned freaking 18

Second, I don't have a job

Third, It's not like I'm going to ask my parents for 12k just for this shit, a beautiful shit

Luckily, they told me I can pay anytime. I said I will pay around April~ I'm like okay I will die since I will have to starve everyday of my life and not spend any of my allowance.

LOL! I feel such a Tavi Gevinson for the past few days! I'm not being mayabang or anything but it actually feels great and proud to be on the first row - and even though some of you may think that it is only Philippine Fashion Week... hey, we gotta start somewhere right? & PhilFW is amuhhzing!  Anyway, it's freaking crazy! I actually love it!!! Well duh you would love it too!!! Hahaha!!! 

Last night, I was seated again first row during the Triumph show and across was Divine Lee, Victor Basa and Jake Galvez. D & V were kind of looking at me and I bet they were like "Wtf who is this little girl?" Chos. And before the show started, I met this fun and friendly lady who is a freelance writer for Marie Claire London - and I gotta admit... I like her!!! She's full of life and just so enthusiastic with things. She even told me that I am her younger self! And I think I do believe that ;)  Triumph fashion show post will be posted soon!

Yay! Thank you everyone for all the support, really - thank you so much!!! I am very lucky to have you people in my life. Really, and to the ones who I don't know personally and have voted for me - thank you! you have no idea how you made one person so happy and lucky.

It has been such a busy busy week for me. I'm still thinking if I should attend the show later at 5:30 but right now I am just so tired. I think I will tell Pat to cover it for me if I can't make it. Hmmm... 

Philippine Fashion Week S/S 12 : Arnold Galang

Yesterday was such a tiring yet exciting day. In the morning, I had two classes, then went to Quezon city to meet Mario Maurer and then went straight to SMX for Philippine Fashion Week. Uhhhh hello? I was all over Manila.

I came late to the SM Menswear, but still had fun despite the hotness of the guy models in it! (Will blog about it) Then after that went to another fashion show featuring: Arnold Galang, Gerry Katigbak and Jun Jun Cambe.

Arnold Galang was the first one to show his creations. His collection consisted of three colors: black, white & a bit of gold by the end of the show using fish scale like details. All of his collections were very wearable, something a busy tres chic woman would wear. The cuts were very clean and crisp, it was as if its too perfect.

I really like how he made such timeless pieces since this fashion week has been crazy with different kinds of designs. What he did was simple and safe yet still amazing. Unlike one designer which I recently watched, was DEAD. I really like the accessories that was used for this show and the details of some of the pieces such as the beads attached on the bottom of the skirt, leather-ish material wrapped around on hand and those folded bags. I would wear these clothes when I am abroad. Really. That white dress, I will wear that when I am in Greece. The fish scale jacket & shorts = PARIS. That beautiful black jumpsuit = Italy and the rest? All over cold places. Haha!
