Yummy Wednesdays I

Just got home from a fun day at Greenbelt with Die! Yes, every Wednesday we meet up and eat at restaurants a.k.a. food trippin'. Today we wanted to eat Indian food, so we went to New Bombay.

Die also ordered some kind of yogurt shake or something and Indian ice cream as well. The food is great for us, but maybe because we haven't been to India? I have an Indian classmate at school, and she thought it was bad. So, I don't know. It tasted good naman.

Also, we tried the iced Chai tea at Seattle's Best - and oh my goodness it is better than Starbucks! Its because it's not too milky, just the way I like it.

Then we went to Timezone, yes that's me at photobooth and that is Die playing that hit the bulldog game. Someone call PETA. Also tried to dance at DDR, but failed. Thank you shoes.

Finally got the chance to get a copy of this! So thrilled! I love Rachel Zoe.

Rainy Days

It's been raining so hard these days, so crazy. Yesterday there was school, I went there early because I needed to sew some things for my project. Then had class for Filipino, but then in the middle of the class they tell us that classes are suspended already. So.... most of the students left and there's still a bunch of us stayed and waited for the rain to kind of stop, but it didn't. It was so hard to get a ride because of the heavy traffic. It was also cold last night, brrrr.... Good thing my mama saved my cold ass!

Today, no school!!!! But we have to make up for the class we didn't have today. Life of a tri-sem student.

So here is what I wore yesterday

I had some kind of safari girl vibe yesterday. I think it was cute, honestly. AND yes, I've been wearing my Lita lately, I think it's a good choice for the rain. It's high and it's leather! So happy that I got 'em.

Versace for H&M

Another collaboration - hoooray! I cannot wait for November 17, I am already drooling... I want that studded leather jacket - looks so perfect! And plus, its also exciting because we, normal people, will be able to get a taste of Versace in a reasonable price! And look at those lovely colorful prints! And did you see those handbags, belts and accessories? WAAAAH I feel like a little girl lusting over Barbie dolls... and oh the shoes and the dresses... and the pieces for guys! Yummm and that black dress embroidered with gold with gold studs! I WANT THAAAAT. BUT WAIT, are those also will be in the H&M x Versace Collection? I wasn't listening.

Threads, Needles & More

It's official. Tuesdays are the dun-dun days for this term. Sewing x Pattern in one day is wow. 4 hours of sewing + loads of projects and lectures then 4 hours of Pattern making + loads of projects. Draining, grabe. Pero I love it, I love the what I'm doing. It's the pagod lang siguro. But thank goodness for good & fun friends and yoga. Temporary stress = bye bye!

It's funny to see that on the first two photos I look so fresh and clean and on the last two, just so haggard. Crazy heat today, nice though to see the sun up again! As usual, had fun during English class. Well come on, our professor is funny as hell. He calls us his autistic children and etc. And its cool, because he's just so fun. Kaloka ang kabaklaan sa English class namin and I love it.

Tomorrow I gotta wake up early and go home late as well. We got yoga at night and I already have a yoga mat! Sooo excited, I wonder if I will shed some pounds from it? Hope so.

A Trip to Le Bronx

Hola amigas & amigos, I just came from the so called "Bronx" a.k.a Divisoria! Surprised that I went there? Well its because I had to buy materials that I need for my sewing and pattern class. There you will see most of all the things you need at reasonable prices compared to the ones in the malls. I actually had fun buying my materials because I could actually imagine myself learning how to sew, make patterns and then make my own clothes. I'm very excited already!

I would like to thank my sister, Ali, for the time, effort and patience for tagging along with me there.

AND I also brought extra money to buy other things which are - accessories! And I tell you again, it's so cheap there!

I rather not share the prices here because some online shops might get pissed me at me by shooing customers away. I will let you explore divisoria by yourself to know.

It was a fun experience because I haven't been there for years, maybe the last time I went there when I was 5 or 6? I just didn't like the smell of rotten vegetables, fruits and etc. And the muddy road and all that. So I suggest you to wear pants, rubber shoes/sneakers/slippers and a simple shirt.

And also I ask you to vote my classmate and of course schoolmate, Pristine De Guzman, as she is going to Berlin this July (I think) to compete to be the best international finalist for Triumph.
